Ariana DeBose hits back at Critics Choice Awards diss after Bella Ramsey joked about 'actors who think they're singers'

Actor Bella Ramsey joked about the best song nominees during the 2024 Critics Choice Awards.

Ramsey said Ariana DeBose, Jack Black, and Ryan Gosling are "actors who also think that they're singers."

DeBose wrote in an Instagram story that she didn't find the joke funny.

Ariana DeBose and her fans are hitting back after a joke about her failed to land at Sunday's 2024 Critics Choice Awards.

Presenting the award for best song, "The Last of Us" actor Bella Ramsey and "Hamilton" star Anthony Ramos said that some of the nominated tracks were "delivered by some of the most famous voices in the music industry," name-checking Dua Lipa, Billie Eilish, and Lenny Kravitz, as reported by Deadline.

"And then there are the actors who also think that they're singers," Ramsey continued. "Jack Black, Ariana DeBose, Ryan Gosling."
